THE AUTHOR

Dr. Patti Rann Thigpen, an audiologist at Thigpen Hearing Center in Murfreesboro, TN, underwent jaw surgery in 1985. During recovery, she enjoyed her favorite foods using the methods and recipes described in Dinner Through a Straw. She created this handbook to ease the recovery period for patients and their families and to promote wellness.
